(French release)  A Dreamworks animated feature.

Cast:  Valérie Lemercier, Gérard Depardieu, Henry Guybet (voice-overs)

Plot:  (Summary from imdb.com) A 'claymation' adventure from the creator of Wallace and Gromit, featuring chickens as the main characters. Ginger is the 'head chick', and she deviously plots to free all the chickens on the farm, preventing an otherwise certain 'Death By Chicken Pie'. After many failed attempts, she meets Rocky, the 'flying rooster', and decides that he holds the key to their freedom.

Production Info:  This film was a hit in the U.S.  The French release features new voice-overs, in French, with Gérard Depardieu playing the character of Rocky (which Mel Gibson played in the English version).

US/UK Status:  Since this is the French voiced version, we're unlikely to see it in the US or UK.  You can buy the VHS/DVD of the French version (see 'official site' below) but beware that your VHS or DVD player will have to support the French standard.   For now, enjoy the too-cute excerpts (see 'trailers' below).
