Written and directed by Edoardo Ponti (Sophia Loren's son). A Canadian/Italian co-production.
Cast: Sophia Loren, Gérard Depardieu, Mira Sorvino, Malcolm McDowell, Deborah Kara Unger, Pete Postlethwaite.
Plot: The story is about three women (Loren, Sorvino, Unger) who each battle with the past. Loren plays Olivia, a woman in an unhappy marriage, Sorvino is an American photo-journalist and Unger is a cellist obsessed with her ex-convict father. Depardieu plays Olivia's confident, an eccentric gardener.
Production Info: This is Sophia Loren's 100th film and her son's 1st.
