(Tutto l'amore che c'è) (Italy) Directed by Segio Rubini. Cast: Damiano Russo, Michele Venitucci, Francesco Cannito. Gérard Depardieu has a cameo as Molotov, a communist farmer.
Plot: Semi-autobiographical story about a group of adolescents in a small Italian town in the 70's. Charles is bored with life in his hometown. The only excitement is dressing up in costume once a year for the festival. He belongs to a rock band with big ambitions. But that all changes with the arrival of three girls from the north causing betrayal, jealousy, and passion among Charles' group of friends. Heavy rock and a 70's nostalgia pervade this 'coming of age' film about youth's desire for freedom and wider horizons than a small town can offer.
Production: Sergio Rubini, the writer/director, is a long time friend of Depardieu. This Italian actor starred with him in A Pure Formality and Count of Monte Cristo, among others. This is no doubt the reason for Depardieu's cameo here.
