Plot: (from imdb) Andre, a Frenchman divorced from his American wife, takes his teenage daughter, Nicole (Heigl), on vacation with him. She's desperate to appear as a woman and not a girl, so in order to impress a local boy (James), she makes up more and more ridiculous stories, starting with Andre being her lover. At first Andre is oblivious to Nicole's lies and can't understand why all of the people at the resort treat him like a pervert. Once he figures out what tales she's been telling he agrees to play along with her crazy games to make her happy, and the stories they make up get increasingly bizarre.
Production: This is a remake of a French comedy also starring Depardieu, Mon père ce héros.
