Plot: Marie Desmoulins (Paradis) is a juvenile delinquent. You would be too if your mother tried to smother you when you were four years old and then, thinking you were dead, killed herself with a gun to the head. Elisa, Marie's mother, was destitute and depressed because her husband had left her and her parents refused to shelter her. Marie survives her mother's suicide and grows up to be a hardened youth. She enjoys tormenting her maternal grandparents for what they did to her mother. Then she goes after bigger game -- dear ol' dad (played by Depardieu). Her plan is to seduce and ruin him, adding an 'incest' theme to this film that is pumped up on the video jacket. But once around her father, Elisa finds that she may not be the cock-sure vixen she thinks she is and she may need more from her father than his destruction.
